LADIES ROCK CAMP 2026

Ladies Rock Camp Birmingham (LRCB) is an intensive weekend program for female-identifying and non-binary folks 18 years of age and older that is redefining the term "lady" by creating an environment that is the antithesis of what we have been told it means to behave as one. Find your inner rock god/goddess by fighting the status quo and becoming part of a rock n roll band of revolutionaries! Programming for LRCB is similar to what girls do during our summer program: learn an instrument, form a band, write a song, and perform your song live - in just a weekend! Sign up with a group of friends or as an individual.
Here's what you can look forward to:

Professional instruction on an instrument of your choice (drums, keyboard, bass, or guitar--instruments are provided for use) by our amazing female-led staff

Songwriting instruction and band coaching to help your band write the most amazing song

An intimate performance by a fabulous local female artist followed by Q&A

Your band's debut performance in the LADIES ROCK SHOWCASE at Saturn, one of the best venues in Birmingham!

Your participation will send girls to Girls Rock Birmingham Summer Camp!
Ladies Rock Camp Birmingham will take place at these times:
Thursday, February 26 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Friday, February 27 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Saturday, February 28 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Sunday, March 1 8:30 AM - end of 3:00 PM showcase
LRCB programmatic function is to generate funds and awareness for the Girls Rock Birmingham Summer Camp as well as reach out to women who support our mission. Tuition for the weekend is $200 and all proceeds from LRCB go directly to these ends. Our volunteer teachers and staff generously donate their time so you can have the time of your life! This year we are hoping to raise $3,000 through LRCB to help provide camp scholarships for girls who need financial assistance.

Girls Rock Bham Summer Camp

Plan to join us for GRB Summer Camp July 13-18, 2026! Camp is a full day experience from 9:00-4:00 each day (aftercare available until 5:15) plus 12:00-4:00 on Saturday.
Camp is open to all girls and gender-expansive youth ages 10-16, and no previous musical experience is required. The week includes instrument lessons, songwriting and band practice, plus daily workshops and performances by local female artists!
Tuition for the full week of camp, with all meals and snacks included, is $300. Some full and partial scholarships are available.
